The Library offers a wide range of generous services in support of theological education and research. While our primary concern is support of Wesley faculty, staff, and students, we also provide services to members of the broader Wesley community and to our partners in teaching in learning. For more information about the services below, please consult the Library Handbook.
Patrons must be currently registered with the Library in order to obtain, renew, or use borrowing privileges. In particular, please note the following:
Wesley students must have a student ID card validated for the current semester. Other members of the Wesley community (e.g., Board of Trustees, alumni, spouses/partners) must be registered at the Library and their information must be up-to-date.
American University students and faculty must have valid AU ID cards.
Washington Theological Consortium students and faculty must have a WTC borrowing form provided and signed by their home institution, good for the current semester.
Special Researchers, including local clergy, graduate students (non-AU or WTC, who have their own privileges), and other researchers may be eligible for certain services.
