Early acceptance candidates need to apply by November 15th for the Spring Semester and February 1st for the Fall Semester.

All Degree applications for fall should be submitted by July 1st and non-degree (Special) students should apply by August 1st. All degree applications for Spring should be submitted by November 15th and non-degree (Special) students should apply by January 15th.

Those seeking placement as Student Pastors or Urban Fellows should apply by February 1st. Those needing an I-20 for a student (F-1) visa should apply no later than March 1st.

Those applying for the Fall Semester and wishing to be considered for Merit Scholarships should have their applications completed no later than February 1st. Those applying for Need-Based financial assistance must submit the Financial Aid Request by May 1st.

Urban Fellows

Deadline for applicantions is February 1.  Interested students are encouraged to apply to the Urban Fellows program when they apply for admission to Wesley Seminary. Urban Fellows must be full-time Master of Divinity students taking a minimum of 9 hours each semester. Urban Fellow applicants must submit an essay addressing the following questions:

1. How have you experienced a call to Urban Ministry?
2. What qualifications or experiences support your Urban Ministry calling?
3. In what type of ministry setting do you see yourself serving in the future?

Essays of no more than 1500 words must be received no later than February 1. Candidates for Church Leadership Excellence need to apply by December 1. Please be advised that this track is not admitted on a rolling basis. All decisions will be made in December.

Candidates for the Spirituality and Story track need to apply by February 1.

The D.Min program is designed for practicing clergy and is not a residential program. F-1 visas are not offered for the D.Min program.
