Virginia FOCUS Initiative
Upcoming event- May 22, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Virginia FOCUS Initiative is a ministry of the Virginia Annual Conference that seeks to strengthen the Black church. Virginia FOCUS 2020 began in 2017 as a three-year initiative to provide training, coaching, and support for strong African-American United Methodist churches in the Virginia Conference.
The theme for the May 22 event is “Minding Our Spiritual Business and Sacred Duties.” This event will focus on creating a stronger ministry presence where you serve. Event features “main stage” speakers, breakout rooms, virtual booths, and networking opportunities.

There is no cost to register. The event is worth .7 CEU credits. The event will remain accessible for 30 days for a nominal fee for those that did not register for the May 22, 2021 event.
