January Term
Wesley annually holds a two-week session in between the New Year's holiday and the start of the spring masters semester.
Much like the summer term, this session is comprised of several one-week and two week intensive courses.
Credits taken by a student during J-Term count toward the spring semester total hours for the purposes of student loans, financial aid, student loans, and continuing enrollment. Courses are held at both the Wesley Downtown location and the main campus at 4500 Massachusetts Avenue.

J-TERM 2024
January-Term (J-Term)*: January 2 to January 12, 2024, Deadline to register: December 15, 2023 - for Master’s 2024 J-Term.

Registration for J-Term opens in mid-October. The first two weeks of Registration are "limited enrollment," which means students must add themselves to the wait-list for J-Term classes designated as limited enrollment. At the end of the month, those wait-lists will be sorted according to student proximity to graduation.
Registration for J-Term classes closes on the last day of the Fall semester (in December). J-Term courses have pre-course assignments due on the first day of class.
Drops between the last day to add and the first day of the J-Term class will incur a $100 late drop fee.
Drops after the first day of a given J-Term class will result in the assessment of full tuition and may result in a failing grade for the course.
