Doctor of Ministry Housing
Residence Life welcomes Doctor of Ministry candidates to campus for the January D.Min. intensive term! We offer on-campus housing for those students traveling to campus from afar, or wishing to minimize commuting time to focus on coursework and utilize campus resources.
Housing Applications
Applications for the January 2020 DMin session will go live on October 1, 2019. All earlier applications will be denied.
Accommodations
We will utilize all available space on campus to accommodate our Doctor of Ministry students once the New Residence Hall is at capacity. Students will be able to indicate a hall preference on their application in the event that placements are made outside the NRH (some students may prefer Straughn Dormitory for financial reasons). If you are unfamiliar with Wesley housing, please take a moment to read about our residence halls and take a look at our floor plans.
During this term, we assign only one-week accommodations. We are unable to prorate if you check-in either late or early. Please note that there is a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations after the cancellation period.
Due to our limited housing, we are unlikely to be able to assign single rooms, except possibly in case of medical requirement. If you have a medical reason why you would need a single room, you will be required to provide a letter from your physician.
Should applications exceed our on-campus vacancies, we may elect to make arrangements at a local hotel for Doctor of Ministry students. Cost would be determined when arrangements are made but would be more expensive than on-campus accommodations.
Housing Rates
All rates are weekly and include a Sunday evening check-in and a Saturday morning check-out. Rates do not include linens or meal plans.
New Residence Hall Double Occupancy - $458
Straughn Residence Hall Double Occupancy - $395
Linen Charge - $15
Linen includes bedsheets, pillow, pillow case, blanket, bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. You may elect to bring your own linen instead of having the seminary provide linen for you (however, please note the NRH is furnished with extra-long twin beds. Straughn is furnished with standard twin beds).
