Passionately Christian and Compassionately Interreligious

Instructor: Sathianathan Clarke

World religions are intimately entwined in our contracting and interconnected globe. For Christians to engage the world both confidently and graciously, they will need to be both deeply formed by Christian sources and broadly informed by interreligious resources. Holding onto the uniqueness of Christ and the ubiquity of God this course invites disciples that are passionately Christian to also be compassionately interreligious. It creates common spaces for learning from unexpected divine wisdom providentially scattered in strange places. And then, it explores how Christians can think of mission as the Gospel for the world.
