REQUIRE
Faith like Abraham ~ Romans 4:13-18

God made a promise to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations.  Abraham was receiving this gift because of his faithful relationship with God.  He listened to God and obeyed God, even when the circumstances were hard.  Day by day Abraham’s faith in God was growing stronger and stronger, even during times when it seemed as though all hope was gone.

We must learn to have faith like Abraham.  Faith is choosing to believe God’s word/God’s promises every day, regardless of our situation or environment.  God requires us to trust in Him and the promises He made us no matter how impossible our situation may seem.  God will not leave us or forsake us.  Therefore, no problem is too big for Him.

There are going to be days and sometimes seasons when nothing seems to be going our way and that is when we must have faith like never before.  It is required that we continue to work on our faith in God so that we may receive our gifts and blessings much like Abraham.
